The hotel is a gem when it comes to location, being just across the road from Billy Bob's and a short stroll from the historic Stockyards, surrounded by a plethora of bars and restaurants. The rooms are clean and full of character, although a bit on the small side with parking mainly limited to valet service. The dining experience, while pricey, offers delicious smoked meat, yet the staff at the breakfast bar could have been more welcoming.

The hotel had great staff at the reservation desk, the rooms were very nice but a bit small for three people plus luggage, and the heating and air system was horrible. The location was excellent for exploring the Stockyards and being close to Billy Bob's, but the dining experience was not great due to abrupt staff at the breakfast bar.
